1. Bylines
Public cost pages are written under the SC Editorial Team byline. We use one team byline because many pages combine pricing rules, city details, route details, calculator output, and editorial review. We do not add fake personal writers for trust.
2. Price checks
Numeric claims are checked against the pricing rules and the page need. A Gurgaon local shifting page, a 2 BHK page, and an intercity route page should not all say the same thing. Each page must explain the charge behaviour for its own topic and search need.
3. Plain language rule
We write in simple Indian English. The reader should understand the page without knowing logistics terms. When a technical term is needed, such as long carry, dedicated truck, GST, transit insurance, or floor charge, the page explains it in normal words.
4. Corrections policy
If a reader reports a wrong number, broken link, unclear charge, or stale city note, we review it and update the page when the correction is valid. Send corrections to corrections@shiftingcharges.in.
5. Commercial independence
We do not sell spots inside charge tables. Vendor names do not appear in calculator ranges or report ranges. Price pages are written to explain estimates, not to push one mover, one brand, or one quote path.
6. No perfect-price claim
Packers and movers pricing does not have one perfect answer. Transporters, brokers, branded movers, local movers, and movers without their own vehicles can all quote differently. Our pages show practical estimate ranges and explain why the final quote can move up or down.
7. Useful quality checks
New pages must have a clear role in the site map. A parent hub should summarise and route. A local page should explain same-city movement. A BHK page should explain goods volume. A route page should explain distance and transit behaviour. Pages that repeat the same structure and answer are improved before indexing.
8. Review cycle
Important pages are reviewed for price logic, headings, internal links, FAQ quality, schema, and reader usefulness. Pages with weak data or thin need are kept out of the main index until they have enough useful content.
